Granted that you respect and appreciate the democratic value of society in which you live , it should then be reasonable to say that you expect to be heard if you feel the need to speak up.
Dialogues, as opposed to one-way monologues, should be norm between "us" and "them". Yet, as much as we'd like to believe this to be an accepted verity, there are some incongruities that arise.
We don't hesitate to label graffiti writerz and piece makers as being vandal, accusing them of committing aesthetic murder in our towns and cities, watching them walk the thin line between art and crime.
However, we don't seem to be applying the same logic to the corporate heads who are free to crowd our (already cramped) living environments with their factories and marketing campaigns, brandishing full support from the authorities.
